The group also went on to suggest "passive resistance" as the best way to silently encourage the downfall of the "government". They also organised "active resistance", for example, they collected bread for the inmates of "KZ's" and refused donations for "Nazi"-organisations. They tried to build up a network to other towns and established contacts to other resistance groups.

n co-operation with professor Kurt Huber the sixth and best-known leaflet was written in 1943. This last leaflet was obviously more political and more clearly created than the former leaflets ( excerpt ). The actions of "The White Rose" were discovered on February 18th, 1943 and the members were condemned to death by the People's Court ( Petition for Mercy ).
