In summer 1942, when bondage, hate and falsehood got normal in
Germany, suddenly the first leaflet of the "White Rose"
was handed round among Munich students:
Hans and Sophie Scholl, together with friends, had begun the resistance against the "demonic despot", against Hitler and his catchpoles under this symbol. They thought, they got guilty of national socialistic crimes when they stayed apathetic, like all other people. |
